Changing Neon Sculpture consists of twenty-seven neon cubes measuring 50 cm3 each. Joined together in a grid structure, the cubes combine to form a larger 3 × 3 × 3 cube. The illumination pattern changes every two seconds, displaying a sequence of different forms such as pyramids and stairs, and thus creating a new light sculpture each time. Equipped with a sensor that detects the presence of a visitor, the cube stops its light movement as soon as a visitor approaches. The sculpture remains in this state as long as the visitor stays, and returns to alternating its display only after the visitor has left the space.
