Today I feel like ... Ilulissat

Today I feel like ... is not only a question that the artist Jeppe Hein asks himself daily by painting a spontaneous self-portrait as part of his diary watercolors.

In Ilulissat, Hein also asked the locals how they feel like and invited them to paint their corresponding self-portrait on the walls of the hall at SPS College.

In doing so, people visualized their mood, just as they feel in the moment of painting. If they are excited, happy, anxious, surprised or angry, irritated, tired or light-hearted.

The paintings give an insight into very personal thoughts. At the same time, they portray life in its entirety, reflecting the mood in our society and thus encourage exchange about the respective situation.
