Double Neon

The work Double Neon is a light object of two concentric spheres, fabricated in various patterns from multicoloured neon tubes. Equipped with separate motion sensors, both spheres are suspended together from the ceiling. The object seems to refuse the viewer’s access, as the act of entering the room to experience the work makes the outer sphere go dark. Then, as the viewer approaches further, the neon light is switched off entirely
