Loop Bench

Loop Bench is an artwork derived from the basic form of a typical park bench: elevated upon legs, it provides a base to sit on and a back to lean against. However, in contrast to the traditional form, the work enlarges the bench form to an absurd degree, forming a long meandering loop with slopes and bends, and thus creating a kind of labyrinthine structure. The visitor may choose to use the bench for sitting, or instead observe it as a work of sculpture by walking around and through its structure.
