Bear the Consequences

In the otherwise empty exhibition space, the visitor notices a small gas flame at the far wall. When moving in for closer inspection, his or her presence activates a sensor causing the flame to grow bigger and more aggressive. The encounter with the work both seduces and repels: the warmer and brighter the flame grows, the closer the visitor wants to get to it, and the more his physical presence in the space becomes unbearable.
